Brian

Brian Allnutt comes from Kentucky by way of Detroit, where he lived for several years doing urban farming and gardening. He studied literature, philosophy and history in college, but has years of experience working in the landscaping and horticulture fields. He came to the SOF to cement his agricultural knowledge and think about his next step as a grower. Brian was the Propagation Manager and an Assistant Instructor for the program in 2011.  When he’s not farming, Brian loves reading, writing, cross-country skiing and minimalism.
